this summer i've been living in looks like this - simple dress, air dried hair, bright lip and a pair of sandals. this lbd with a peekaboo daisy belt has been one of my summer favorites but i'm eying this one for fall and will be swapping out sandals for booties.

this slightly sheer hippie like blouse has been on my wish list all summer and i finally buckled and brought it home with me. my favorite part - the row of buttons down the back that make it particularly sweet.

ps - i bought these wedges last year but they're on big big sale on bluefly. highly recommend as they are both comfortable and lovely.

another summer week flies by. normally by this time i'm beginning to ache for fall but i haven't gotten even close to my fill of summer so this weekend i'll be soaking up as much summer goodness as possible.

sadly this summer has been so busy i've barely had any time to cook or bake. so when i had some extra time to make dinner last week this was the first dish that came to mind. its full of summer veggies, a bit fancier than a normal monday through friday meal and absolutely delicious.

my friend elyse asked all of her bridesmaids to pick out a coral dress for her wedding and this little lace dress in a bright neon hue is what i finally settled on. aside from knowing i will definitely wear this again, i love the look of the coral rainbow of dresses and and how each girl's personal style came through on the bride's big day.

after wedding weekend after wedding weekend i'm excited to be spending the next three days lakeside -- catching some sun, devouring a good book and maybe taking a hike or two.

love how this lady-like skirt pairs with just about anything. here with a crop top with cognac leather trim for a hot weekend day, but looks just as great monday through friday with a sleeveless button down tucked in.

ps - these wedges that i've lived in for the last two summers are on big sale. and i might just have to buy a back up pair i love them so much.
