{outfit post - maxi skirts and football}

{h&m striped shirt, forever21 knit maxi skirt, forever21 necklaces, zara belt, frye boots - similar here}

i'd prefer to pair this maxi skirt with wedges or strappy flat sandals, but these frye boots are much better suited for the chilly weather we had this weekend. i wore this outfit sunday to run some early morning errands. afterwards my boyfriend and i settled onto the couch for a full 7 hours of football. our team, the chicago bears, won (!!!), and the pizza i made was the perfect viewing snack. it was a wonderful way to spend my very favorite day of the week.

Love this look - I think the boots are perfect! How tall are you? I always feel a tad too short to do the maxi skirt/dress. (Please say you're short!)

@jessie i am 5'4 - so definitely not tall! i think a high waisted option paired with heels is best for us shorter girls.

I love the Bears! How I miss watching them now that I live farther north. :(

Ahh I'm loving this look! It's hard for me to pull off the maxi, especially a full skirt b/c of my height...but you look great!!! (^^)
